Leaders in Underwater Exploration and Discovery in the Pacific

FINDING MIAs

With a proven track record, we work with governments of all nations involved in the Second World War to locate, identify, and repatriate remains of those missing in action.

SITE MAPPING

Through the use of underwater technology such as photogrammetry, sonar and UAVs, along with techniques of marine archaeology, we develop site maps of historic wrecks and share our information with local governments to increase awareness and promote stewardship.

INCREASE TOURISM

Announcements of finds of historical significance bring global attention to the region and to the wrecks themselves. This leads to increased tourism activity from recreational divers who wish to visit the sites and dive on the wrecks.

Our Goal

Focused on discovery not profit, Sealark Exploration is registered in the US as a 501(c)(3) Not For Profit organisation.  Sealark takes a phased approach to the maritime mapping of historical wrecks and the recovery and repatriation of Missing In Action (MIA) servicemen in the Pacific region.   Sealark Exploration plans to extend the coverage of previous data gathering to record and identify targets of interest and to confirm wrecks and UXO/ERW and possible MIAs in the area. The output is to be a Wreck Diving Map to help boost tourism, the forwarding of MIA information to the appropriate authorities and create a record of the history of the area.  Sealark Exploration specialises in maritime discovery, mapping and hydrographic surveying.
